Teresa , Re-Form Movement studio owner; has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Western Michigan University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Indiana University, and her Massage Therapy training from the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts. She has over 25 years of professional experience in the fitness industry. Teresa is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), the internationally accredited Pilates organization. She first fell in love with the Pilates method in 1998 when she was certified in Mat Pilates from the Physical Mind Institute. From here she completed her comprehensive Pilates equipment training at the Pilates of La Jolla Studio in San Diego, California where she focused doing private sessions combining Pilates and massage to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals. She enjoys and regularly attends many continuing educational courses and has worked with many of the Pilates Master Teachers including Lolita San Miguel, Jullian Littleford, Elizabeth Larkham, Moria Stott, Kathy Corey, and Brent Anderson. Teresa believes that the reformer is the most versatile piece of exercise equipment and she enjoys designing exercise programs utilizing this versatility to suit each client’s needs. Teresa has experience in working with all fitness levels from beginners to advanced exercisers including rehabilitation and pregnancy and she is also certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
